The undersigned, the authorized representative of the project named below (hereafter called the “Project”), submits the Project to Detours International Film Festival (hereafter called the “Festival”) for consideration for the 2025 edition. By submitting, the undersigned acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Rights and Clearances: The undersigned affirms that the Project’s exhibition in the Festival will not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other personal or property rights. All necessary licenses, permissions, and clearances have been obtained, and all associated fees have been paid.

No Liability: Submission of the Project does not create any obligation for the Festival to select or exhibit the Project. The Festival is not liable for any decisions regarding selection, exhibition, or awards.

Indemnification: The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Festival, its employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the submission, exhibition, or promotion of the Project.

No Compensation: The undersigned acknowledges that selection of the Project for the Festival does not entitle the Project’s Owners to any compensation. While some awards may include cash prizes, acceptance of the Project does not guarantee such benefits.

Promotional Rights: If selected, the Festival may use excerpts, stills, titles, and biographical information of the Project’s creators for promotional purposes, including online, print, and social media platforms.

Submission Fee: Submission fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether the Project is selected for the Festival.

Selection and Exhibition: The Festival reserves the right to determine the placement, scheduling, and manner of the Project’s exhibition (live, digital, or hybrid). Refusal to comply with Festival guidelines may result in disqualification.

Arbitration: Any disputes arising from the submission or exhibition of the Project will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Middle District of Florida.

Age Verification: If the undersigned is under the legal age to enter into contracts, parental or legal guardian consent must be provided.

Final Agreement: By submitting, the undersigned acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Submission constitutes full acceptance of the Festival’s guidelines and policies.
